Badlands — PvP
Good luck out there — trust no one.
Server Wiki
Everything you need to know about OFG DayZ — Badlands PvP
Overview
OFG Badlands is a PvP server with a near-vanilla experience. No massive mod lists, no traders, no safe zones — just raw survival and real combat. The server runs with minimal quality-of-life tweaks and focuses on what DayZ does best: tension, loot runs, and player encounters.
Server Settings
Badlands starts with a clean DayZ experience plus a few tweaks to improve gameplay flow:
- Increased Stamina — run longer before getting tired
- Higher Carry Weight — carry more loot without being over-encumbered
- Autorun — toggle auto-sprint for long-distance travel
- Admin Tools — server management and moderation tools for admins
DayZ Features
Badlands takes full advantage of DayZ’s latest content updates. Here’s what you’ll find on the server:
🌪 Sandstorms
Dynamic sandstorm weather events that reduce visibility, force you to take cover and create opportunities for ambushes. When the storm hits, navigation becomes a challenge and firefights get unpredictable.
🔨 Building System
DayZ’s updated building system lets you construct shelters, fortifications and storage. Build a base, defend it, or raid someone else’s. On Badlands there is no raid protection — if you build it, you better defend it.
🚗 New Vehicles
New vehicle types including enduro motorcycles for fast cross-country travel and flyable aircraft for air superiority. Vehicles are rare and high-value targets — find one, fix it, and try to keep it.
🔫 Weapons
The latest DayZ weapon additions are available on Badlands. New firearms, attachments and optics to discover across the map. Military loot zones are contested territory — gear up and watch your back.
Capture the Flag
A PvPvE event where you must find a flag, fight through zombies, and deliver it to a distant target — while every player on the server can track your position. High risk, high reward.
How It Works
| Phase | What Happens | Who Sees What |
|---|---|---|
| A beam of light marks a random location on the map | All players see the marker + notification | |
| 8 military zombies spawn when a player gets within 50m | All players get a warning notification | |
| Survive for 60 seconds while zombies attack | All players see the flag location | |
| Flag appears on the ground — pick it up (goes on your back) | All players see who picked it up | |
| Carry the flag 1.5–3 km to the target location | ||
| A safe with military loot spawns at the target | All players get a delivery notification |
If the Carrier Dies
Flag drops at the carrier’s death location
All players are notified the flag is on the ground
After 10 seconds the flag can be picked up by anyone
The new carrier gets a new target — the fight continues
Rewards
The loot safe at the target contains a random weapon set, a random gear set, and medical supplies. The safe stays for 30 minutes.

Leaderboard & Points
Everything you do on Badlands earns you leaderboard score. Kills, survival time, achievements — it all counts. Your score is tracked per season and displayed on the Leaderboard.
Your leaderboard score is automatically converted into Shop Points (PKT) that can be spent in the in-game shop. The more you play, the more you earn.
Airdrops
Supply planes fly across the map and drop crates at predefined locations. Airdrops are guarded by zombies and dogs and marked on the map. Fight your way through the defenders, loot the crate, and get out before others arrive.
How It Works
| Phase | What Happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Announcement | Server notification 10 minutes before the drop with approximate location |
| 2. Reminder | Second notification at 5 minutes — map marker appears with ~100m inaccuracy radius |
| 3. Drop | Plane flies over and drops the crate at 400m altitude — red smoke trail while falling |
| 4. Landing | Crate lands — white smoke signal for 5 minutes — map marker updates to exact position |
| 5. Zombies Spawn | Zombies spawn around the crate — kill the required percentage to unlock it |
| 6. Loot | Open the crate and claim your reward |
| 7. Despawn | Crate despawns after 45 minutes if not looted (won’t despawn with players nearby) |
Settings

- Dogs (Military only): 2–4 dogs spawn when the crate lands
- Wave 2 (on open): 10–15 additional zombies spawn when you start opening the crate

- Zombie limit: Maximum 30 per airdrop

Shop
Earn points by playing — spend them on gear, weapons, and personalized items.
How It Works
The OFG GimmickShop is an in-game shop where you spend points earned through gameplay. Every action on the server — killing zombies, winning events, completing missions — earns you leaderboard score. That score is automatically converted into shop points (PKT) that you can spend on items.
The Shop Interface
Open the shop in-game to browse available items. The full-screen interface gives you everything at a glance:
- Categories — filter items by type (weapons, gear, plates, etc.)
- Search — find items instantly by name
- Item Grid — browse items with preview images and prices
- Detail Panel — 3D item preview, full description, and purchase buttons
- Balance Display — your current PKT balance is always visible
Purchased items appear directly in your inventory. If your inventory is full, the item is placed on the ground next to you.
Purchase Modes
Items can be purchased in different ways depending on how they are configured:
| Mode | Button | How It Works |
|---|---|---|
| Buy | BUY | One-time purchase — pay the price, get the item immediately |
| Subscribe | ABO | Pay once for a subscription — claim the item for free, as often as you want |
| Both | BUY ABO | Choose: buy it once, or subscribe for unlimited claims |
| Claim | CLAIM (ABO) | You already have a subscription — claim for free anytime |
Personalized Items & Ownership
Some shop items are personalized — they belong exclusively to one player. A great example: custom license plates with your name on them.
How Ownership Works
- Personalized items only appear in your shop — other players cannot see or buy them
- Your identity is automatically resolved from the leaderboard — no setup needed
- Once purchased, the item is permanently bound to your account
Item Protection
Owner-locked items are fully protected in the game world. If you die and drop your personalized item, nobody else can take it:
| Action | Owner | Other Players |
|---|---|---|
| See the item in the shop | Yes | No |
| Buy or subscribe | Yes | No |
| Pick up the item | Yes | No |
| Put it in inventory | Yes | No |
| Attach to gear or vehicle | Yes | No |
| See it on a vehicle or player | Yes | Yes |
Other players can see your personalized items in the world (e.g. your license plate on your car), but they cannot interact with them in any way.
Example: License Plates
Here is a typical scenario showing how the shop, subscriptions, ownership, and item protection work together:
You open the shop and find your personalized license plate in the “Plates” category. You subscribe to it with your points. The plate appears in your inventory.
You attach the plate to your vehicle. Everyone on the server can see your plate — it’s visible to all players.
You get killed. Your plate drops to the ground. Another player finds it.
The other player tries to pick up your plate — blocked. They cannot take it into their hands, inventory, or attach it anywhere. Your item is safe.
You respawn and return to pick up your plate — works normally. Or you simply open the shop and claim a new one for free, since you have a subscription.
Earning Points
Your shop points come from the leaderboard score. Every action that earns you score also fills your shop balance. Here are some ways to earn:
| Action | Score |
|---|---|
| Win an event (KOTH, Convoy, etc.) | 100 |
| Rob an ATM | 75 |
| Kill a Boss | 50 |
| Secure an Airdrop | 30 |
| Kill an AI soldier | 5 – 25 |
| Kill a zombie | 1 |
Your leaderboard score is automatically converted into shop points at a fixed rate. The more you play, the more you can buy.
Players who support the server through voluntary donations will receive bonus points as a thank you.
